Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Russia has taken control of 3,620 residential settlements in Ukraine since the start of the military operation on February 24.

In a press statement, Zelensky explained that these residential settlements include large cities and small towns, all of which have witnessed destruction and have become unsuitable for urban life.

Moreover, he pointed out that Moscow has used 2,500 missiles of various types against Ukraine since the start of the war, many of them targeting cities and infrastructure.

It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a special military operation in Ukraine last February, which later turned into an armed conflict between Moscow and Kyiv.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia has lost the battle not only for Kharkiv, Kyiv, and northern Ukraine, but has already lost its future and all cultural ties with the world.

On Sunday, the Ukrainian President announced the dismissal of the head of the security service in Kharkiv for not working to strengthen the city’s defenses.
