Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused the European Union (EU) of creating artificial obstacles to providing financial aid to Ukraine worth 8 billion Euros.
“Every day, in various ways, I remind some European Union leaders that Ukrainian pensioners, displaced persons and other people dependent on our budget should not become hostage to indecision and European bureaucracy,” Zelensky said in a video speech.
He continued, “8 billion Euros for Ukraine is still pending. This artificial obstruction of financial aid to our country is either a crime or a mistake, and it is difficult to say which is worse than the two.”
Zelensky declined to specify which country or European countries are blocking aid to Ukraine, adding, “We believe this is a mistake, and it will be corrected.”
