Zamalek's Potential Line-up for de Agosto Encounter

Zamalek’s new head coach Patrice Carteron has potentially made up his mind on the line-up for tonight’s encounter in the CAF Champions League group stage against Primeiro de Agosto

Zamalek, who were drawn in Group A, alongside ZESCO United F.C (Zambia), and TP Mazembe (DR Congo), are set to host de Agosto on Saturday at Al-Salam Stadium (21:00 CLT).

The line up could witness the return of the White Knights' forward Mostafa Mohamed and Zamalek's first-choice goalkeeper Mohamed Awad.

The game is set to be aired via Bein Sports and Time Sports. Time will have the right to broadcast this clash on the terrestrial TV channels.

The Potential Line-up is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed Awad

Defenders: Hazem Emam, Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Abdallah Gomaa

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Ferjani Sassi, Ahmed Sayed "Zizo," Youssef Obama, Ashraf Bencharki

Forwards: Mostafa Mohamed

The White Knights are in an urgent need to secure victory to compensate their lose against Etoile du Sahel in the group stage opening game. Zamalek went down to a 0-3 defeat from TP Mazembe in the opening game from the group stage. On Friday, Zamalek’s new head coach his 18-man squad for Primeiro de Agosto clash.

On Monday, December 2, Zamalek’s chairman Mortada Mansour appointed Carteron as the White Knights’ new head coach, succeeding Milutin Sredojević ‘Micho.
