Zamalek Thrash Smouha 2-0 in Egyptian League

Two goals from Moroccan player Ashraf Bencharki and another from Ahmed Fatouh granted Zamalek a 2-0 victroy over Smouha in the third round of the Egyptian League.

Bencharki had put the White Knights ahead after only nine minutes through a penalty spot.

The Moroccan player stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to open the scoring for the White Knights.

Fatouh doubled Zamalek's advantage in the 33rd minute after a nice move from the center to the penalty area, before curling the ball in the left-bottom corner to score the second goal.

Emam Ashour came close to netting the third for the White Knights as his powerful shot hit the bar in the 66th minute.

Zamalek are now second with seven points, while Smouha are now in the 8th spot with five points.
