Zamalek managed to qualify for the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup after beating Hassania Agadir 1-0 in the second leg of their quarterfinals match. The white giants are expected face the winners between Tunisia’s Al Sahil and Al Hilal,
The White giants started the match with a balanced display of attack and defense, but were dealt a huge blow after their ace striker Ferjani Sassy was injured in the 14th minute.
Ibrahim Hassan scored Zamalek’s first goal in the 49th minute after corner kick was deflected, then Ibrahim capitalized and scored the only goal of the match.
Chemi almost scored the equalizer in the 75th minute after a shot from inside the penalty area but hit the crossbar to bounce back to Berkawi, who hit the top of the crossbar despite falling ground.
The win gives Zamalek an overall 1-0 win over the Moroccan club after their first leg ended in a goaless draw.
