Raja Casablanca spokesman Said Wehbe confirmed on Sunday that his club first leg at the CAF Champions League (CL) semi-finals would be held behind closed doors due to coronavirus concerns.

The Moroccan club are set to host the White Knights in the first leg on 1 or 2 May.

In televised statements, the spokesman said that the encounter would be held in an empty stadium until the situation becomes clear by May.

He also said that Moroccan authorities banned fans from attending matches as that was clear in the Confederation Cup clash between RS Berkane and Al Masry.

He added that no decision was made yet whether Hamid Ahaddad will be allowed to take part in the game or not.

Zamalek reached the semi-finals after defeating ES Tunis in the last eight 3-2 on aggregate, while Raja qualified for the last four after knocking TP Mazembe out of the competition following an aggregate 3-1 win.
