Ibrahima Koné came close to doubling the scoring in the 42nd minute after unleashing a left-foot shot past Abu-Gabl.

Seven minutes later, El-Winsh added the second for the White Knights after a great cross, made by Islam Gaber, into the penalty area, where Zamalek's defender headed it into the left bottom corner to make it 2-1.

The Whites are now in the second spot with 65 points, a five-point difference ahead of Pyramids, that are in the third spot with 60 points.

On the other hand, El-Hodoud has officially been relegated to the second pision with 30 points.
