Zamalek Announces Squad for Pyramids FC Clash

Zamalek have announced their 22-man squad set to face Pyramids FC in match day 2 of the Egyptian Premier League.

The White Giants have won their league opener against Arab Contractors and have another uphill battle when they face Confederation Cup finalists Pyramids FC on Thursday night.

The squad saw the return Youssef Obama, Mohamed Ashraf Roqa as well as Emam Ashour. Other significant changes from the first game include the return of Mohamed Ounajem and Omar El-Said.

Meanwhile, Abdallah Gomaa missed-out on the squad despite recovering from COVID-19, the club’s newest signing Hamza Mathlouthi was also left-out.

Zamalek's Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed Abogabal. Mahmoud Abdelrehim ‘Genesh’ and Mohamed Awad.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Mahmoud Hamdy ‘Wensh’, Mohamed Abdelghani, Mohamed Abdelsalam, Hazem Emam and Ahmed Fatooh.

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Ferjani Sassi, Mohamed Ashraf Roqa, Ahmed Sayed ‘Zizo’, Youssef Obama, Shikabala, Achraf Bencharki, Mohamed Ounajem, Emam Ashour, and Islam Gaber.

Forwards: Hamid Ahaddad, Omar El-Said and Mostafa Mohamed
