General Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki met on Wednesday with several commanders, officers and soldiers of the commando and paratroopers.
Zaki said that the armed forces work with full determination to protect the homeland, offering all support to the troops to carry out their mission successfully.
He added the forces will remain the nation's shield and a strong hold that protects the homeland with men, who sacrifice their lives for their country.
On their part, the Special Forces fighters, together with the Commander-in-Chief, renewed their sacrifice and redemption, fulfilling all duties entrusted to them to protect the homeland, its security, safety and sanctity of its territory.
The meeting was attended by several senior leaders of the armed forces.
