On Friday, renowned Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass mourned the death of Jehan Sadat, the wife of former President Mohamed Anwar Sadat, the Hero of War and Peace.
He asserted that Egypt lost a great lady who I called “The Lady of Hearts” in my latest article.
She did everything for Egypt. I remember when Egypt’s tourism needed more international promotion, she agreed to join me to call for boosting tourism to Egypt in the USA.
Hawass added that she used to receive tourist groups at her house and talk impressively to them about Egypt. She stole everyone’s hearts with her talk about Egypt.
He concluded that he will miss her voice, and asked all Egyptian and Arab people to pray for her.
