YouTube temporarily suspended former President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani from its partner program, due to repeated violation of its policy that prevents false claim of widespread fraud in the 2020 U.S. presidential election, according to Reuters report, on Tuesday,

Meanwhile, Giuliani is facing at least two New York disciplinary complaints by prominent attorney groups citing his repeated voter fraud claims on behalf of the former president and his incendiary remarks just before the January 6 storming of the US Capitol.

Moreover, the channels removed can appeal the decision or reapply to the programme in 30 days, if they address the underlying issues that led to the suspension, according to YouTube.

On other hand, The firm announced on Tuesday, it would indefinitely block Donald Trump's YouTube channel from new uploads in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence. YouTube first banned him from posting new videos two weeks ago.

Noteworthy, the supporters of Trump stormed a congressional session held to endorse Joe Biden’s victory, as a last-minute desperate attempt by Trump to reverse his election loss led to chaos and accusations of an attempted “coup.”

Officials at the U.S. Capitol building announced the closure, and lawmakers said on Twitter that they were sheltering in their offices, as protesters – some of them carrying Trump flags – were seen walking through the building.
