Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri and her husband prominent businessman Ahmed Abou Hashima, have split up after being married for nearly two and a half years, media outlets reported Thursday.
The couple didn't address the news, only deleted their photos together from social media and unfollowed each other.
In a statement, a source close to the now-former couple confirmed the news.
The insider added that the separation occurred in a very calm and elegant way, adding that their relationship was characterized by mutual respect.
In April 2020, Sabri and Abou Hashima tied the knot in a low-key ceremony.
The actress shared the news on Instagram and captioned: “17/4/2020”.
She also shared two photos from the pair’s Katb El-Kitab ceremony – an Islamic prenuptial agreement considered an integral part of the marriage process، outlining the rights and responsibilities of the bride and groom.
On March 11, it was reported that the Egyptian actress got engaged to the prominent businessman after Abou Hashima posted an Instagram story that showed him holding hands with a mysterious female.
The woman was seen wearing a diamond ring and golden bracelets similar to those previously worn by Sabri via a video on Instagram posted on February 17.
