Yahya El Nosany defeats Israeli player 3-0 in 26 minutes at the Canadian Open

Egyptian champion Yahya El Nosany defeated his Israeli opponent, Daniel Polishtek, in the round of 16 at the Canadian Open Squash Championship, hosted by Toronto from October 25 to 31. The women's tournament is being held in Toronto, with prize money totaling $82,000, making it into the silver category, while the men's tournament is worth $26,000, making it into the bronze category.

Yahya El Nosany defeated Israeli Daniel Polishtek 3-0 in a fast-paced match that lasted 26 minutes, with the scores being 11-6, 11-6, 11-2.

The tournament featured 10 Egyptian players, as follows:

5 players in the women's competition: Amina Orfy, Nour Heikal (ranked), Nardine Garas, Haya Ali, and Amina El Rihany.

Five players are competing in the men's competition: Yehia El Nousany, Mostafa El Serty, Mohamed Sharaf, Mohamed Nasser, and Abdel Rahman Nassar.

For her part, Amna El Trabelsi, President of the Egyptian Squash Federation, confirmed that Egyptian squash possesses many talents capable of competing until the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, adding that the federation is preparing vigorously for the Olympics to win a gold medal.

In exclusive statements to Youm7, Amna El Trabelsi said, "There is no concern for Egyptian squash. We have a continuity of generations, and many Egyptian talents are waiting for the opportunity to participate in the Olympics. We are striving to win a gold medal in Los Angeles."
