Early Wednesday, WWE’s NXT: 2.0 concluded the events of its July’s Pay-Per-View’s Great American Bash (GAB) which came during the 4th of July holidays that marks the Independence Day of the US.

New NXT Tag Team Champions Crowned

Since her arrival to the realms of the NXT, Roxanne Perez received huge support from the fans, and received major pushes such as winning the NXT Breakout Tournament for having a title match against NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.

Perez started her fights against the Toxic Attraction sable, backed by the popular NXT star Cora Jade which led to a tag team match between the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin, and Jacy Jayne from Toxic Attraction against Perez and Jade.

The challengers successfully defeated the champions to be crowned as the new champions.

All Men’s Championships Retained

Except for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, the GAB saw no major title shifts in the event. North American Champion Carmelo Hayes defeated Grayson Waller, NXT Tag Team champions the Creed Brothers won against Damon Kamp and Roderick Strong, and NXT Champion Bron Breaker defeated Cameron Grimes.

Newcomer Appeared

After his victory, NXT Champion Bron Breaker was attacked by new NXT Superstar JD McDonough. McDonough made his TV NXT debut by appearing before the air went off and attacked Breaker.

The newly debuted athlete was advertized to appear at the NXT roaster two weeks ago.

QR Code?!

During the airing of the NXT: GAB, a QR code appeared and the audience scanned the code to be shocked by a strange message.

The fans started to solve the clue. Some fans speculated that the date could refer to a new member and sable, and some of them reflected that the dates could stand for the 10th and 11th of August. This refers to the possibility of having NXT two-night pay-per-view as the two days will mark Tuesday (the weekly day of streaming the show) and Wednesday.

It is worthy to mention that the card of GAB included two single matches between Tiffany Stratton and Wendy Choo and between Trick Williams and Wes Lee. The two matches saw the victory of Stratton, and Williams.
