Adam Copeland who is known as Edge in WWE is possibly making his AEW debut at WrestleDream this Sunday.
His WWE contract is believed to expire at the end of September, with no news of a contract extension with the WWE.
Although Edge confirmed that he received a contract extension from the company, after his final match at the soon-to-be-expired contract against Sheamus.
Since May, some speculations have increased that Edge may join his best, and long-time friend Christian Cage at the AEW, especially after the quality TV time Cage earned with his current storyline.
On Wednesday’s Dynamite, the belief of Edge's appearance grew as a number of masked men attacked AEW Star Jay White at the end the show, one of them wearing AEW World Champion MJF's "The Devil" mask, however, his body seemed not MJF's.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Edge’s WWE contract expires on Saturday, which means that he can make his AEW debut at WrestleDream.
PW Insider reported that Edge has been removed from WWE’s internal roster.
Cage will have a 2 out of 3 Falls match against Darby Allin at Wrestledream for the TNT title.
Fans believe that Cage abandoned his ally Luchasaurus from being at the ringside to free space to Edge.
It is expected that Edge could use his real name, instead of the remarkable WWE's name due to copyrights, also, no news was confirmed about the rights of Edge's theme "Metalingus."
