'Wust El-Balad' to Perform at Cairo Opera House

Wust El-Balad band will hold a concert at Cairo Opera House on June 15, as part of the annual Summer festival, which began from 12 and will continue till 20 June, in addition to hosting daily performances of famous Egyptian bands and singers.

Wust El-Balad is an Egyptian Soft rock band, founded in Cairo in 1999. The band released four albums; the self-titled "Wust El-Balad" in 2007, “Rubabekya” in 2011, "Karakib" in 2014, and "Bantalony el-Jeans" in 2018.

The band cooperated with the famous Sharmoofers on April 21, 2017 in a concert in Zamalek, which was attended by thousands of their fans and performed as part of the 15th International Summer Festival.

Noteworthy, Wust El-Balad are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, their co-founder and lead singer, Hany Adel, is currently starring in films and on appearing on television.

Massar Egbari team will open the events, which will run until June 20, and it will present a collection of his most famous songs.

The summer parties including a number of artists and teams, including Ali El-Hajjar, Tamer Ashour, , the Eastern Cracker Band, musician Hisham Kharma, Carmen Suleiman, Mohammed Sharnubi and Nesma Mahjoub.
