President of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) Gloria Guevara Manzo congratulated Tourism Minister Rania Al Mashat on receiving WTTC Global Champion Award at the 2019 Global Summit.
Monza highly lauded Mashat's efforts in developing the Egyptian tourism sector which positioned Egypt to a better level.
She tweeted: "Congratulations !!! Amazing job done by you and your team ! Everyone in Egypt should feel very proud of your accomplishments ! You have done an extraordinary work and positioned your country to another level ! We can wait to visit your beautiful country again !"

The summit was held earlier this month in Seville, Spain.
Mashat was awarded during the WTTC event as the first minister from the Middle East region to receive this award.
Mashat Confers with Chinese Tourism Companies
During the event, the minister held a meeting with a representative of China's top online travel services provider, Ctrip. They discussed ways of attracting Chinese tourists to Egypt.
She, during the meeting, said that the Chinese market is one of the promising markets for the Egyptian tourism sector.
It is worth mentioning that Ctrip has a large market share in China reaching 80%.
