Women, Youth, Elderly Participate in Giza Complementary Elections

Several schools in Giza Governorate witnessed a large influx of citizens to participate in the electoral process of the by-elections of the House of Representatives.

Mohamed Abou El-Enein, President of the Egyptian-European Council and vice-president of the Nation's Future Party will participate in the elections.

The business tycoon's electoral symbol is "Pen" and holds the no. 4.

The National Elections Authority had completed all preparations for the complementary elections for the Giza district.

It is noteworthy that the elections started in the morning of Tuesday and is expected to end Wednesday, when one of the candidates has a majority.

Sada el-Balad English (See) monitored the arrival of a large number of women, youth and elderly in the voting process, including people with special needs.

Also, a group of youth volunteered to help voters get to know their polling stations.

Moreover, high officials from the ministry of interior inspected the electoral committees and the security personnel were stationed in front of the headquarters of the electoral commission to insure the integrity of elections.

It is noteworthy that Abou El-Enein was chosen as a member of the parliament in the period from 2000-2011, where he won the highest percentage of support in the years 2005-2010, amounting to 88% and 95% of the voters, respectively, despite the fact that he did not make a campaign.

During the past nine years, Abou El-Enein has not stopped communicating with the people of Giza in person or through his social institution, although we did not run for the elections.
