Winona Ryder to Star in Thriller Movie "The Cow"

American actress Winona Ryder is will star in the mystery thriller movie "The Cow".

The mystery thriller will also feature Dermot Mulroney, John Gallagher Jr., Owen Teague, and Brianne Tju.

The movie was directed by Eli Horowitz, co-creator of Amazon’s anthology series "Homecoming", who also wrote the screenplay along with Matthew Derby. It marks Horowitz's feature directing debut.

Plot details of the production are kept under wraps, which have just been wrapped.

CAA Media Finance will represent U.S. sales.

The movie is produced by Raphael Margules and JD Lifshitz of BoulderLight Pictures with Shaun Sanghani of SSS Entertainment and Russ Posternak of Post Film.

Anthony Eu of Singapore-based mm2 Asia is serving as executive producer and BoulderLight’s Tracy Rosenblum as a co-producer.

Ryder most recently was seen in David Simon’s HBO limited series "The Plot Against America".

The actress is also set to reprise her role as Joyce Byers on Season 4 of Netflix’s hit "Stranger Things", which is set to premiere in 2022.
