Ihab Khorshid, guitarist Omar Khorshid’s brother, expressed a few hours ago the family's will to receive condolences of the guitarist's death, forty years after Khorshid's guitarist.
Through a post on his Facebook account, Khorshid asserted that he accused former political leader and minister Safwat El Sherief, and the family is ready for having funeral time dedicated to his brother who was killed by El Sherief.
On the other hand, many fans opposed Khorshid as he accused El Sherief without any evidence and his reaction could depict a sense of gloating.
However, he explained to Masrway that his mother, Mrs. Eetemad Khorshid, told a testimony against El Sherief in one of the political cases in 1968, asserting that El Sherief aimed to take revenge from her and her sons.
He also added that his mother and father were the main founders of Egyptian Media Production City and El Sherief stole their idea and their designs.
Omar Khorshid died in a car crash on his way back home after finishing a musical performance.
Many witnesses highlighted that the car which hit Khorshid watched him since the morning of the day of the accident, so it couldn't be only an accident, but a murder.

On the other hand, Maha Abu Ouf, Khorshid's widow, described that Korshid was wounded terribly, but there was a 30 cm. deep wound in his neck which underscored the sense of murder.
She added that she inspected the scene of the accident and it didn't look like a simple car crash.

Moreover, departed actress Soad Hosny wrote in her diaries that El Sherief is the main reason for Khorshid's death.
In the same context, Hosny's sister acted the same move as Khorshid because Hosny's family accused El Sherief too of the actress's death.
