WHO Announces Significant Decrease in Death Toll of Corona Globally

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that more than 9 million people were infected with Coronavirus during the past week, and more than 26 thousand died.

The organization confirmed that the number of deaths decreased by 43% within the previous seven days and that the number of infections also decreased by 16%.

WHO stated in its weekly bulletin that the number of new infections with the Coronavirus decreased within the period from March 28 to April 3 by 16% compared to the previous week, and the number of deaths decreased by 43%."

A decrease in the number of infected people compared to the previous week (from March 21 to 27) was detected in all six WHO regions, and this was especially evident in Africa, Europe, and the Western Pacific region. The decrease in the death toll was also recorded in all regions.
