White House Says NATO Doesn't Pose Threat to Russia

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) does not pose a threat to Russia, the white house said in a statement. 

This came in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to puts Russia’s nuclear deterrence forces on high alert.

"US President Joe Biden's administration is considering providing further support to Ukraine," the statement read, stressing that imposing sanctions on the Russian energy field "is on the table."

On the other hand, Ukrainian Foreign Minister (FM) Dmytro Kuleba said that Russian forces continue to target civilians throughout Ukrainian cities.

Moreover, Ukrainian minister revealed, on Sunday, that Russian forces lost about 4,300 servicemen during their invasion of Ukraine.

On her Facebook page, Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar announced the death toll of Russian forces, noting that the number was being clarified.

Moreover, Malyar added that Russian troops lost about 146 tanks, 27 aircraft and 26 helicopters.

On the other hand, Ukraine‘s Health Ministery revealed that almost 200 Ukrainians have died since Russia launched its attack earlier this week.
