John Kirby, the US National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator, stated that the US does not plan to send any troops to Ukraine.

He added that nothing had changed in President Joe Biden's decision not to engage US forces in the fighting in Ukraine.

Earlier, it was reported that the United States deployed the 101st Airborne Division in Romania to participate in military exercises.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the deployment of the aforementioned division would aggravate the situation.

Last May, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at the briefing that has no plans to send troops to Ukraine to fight with Russia.

"Well, the President has been very clear that he is not intending to send US troops to fight a war with Russia," the press secretary said.

The establishment of a no-fly zone over Ukraine by the US Administration would lead to a direct conflict with Russia, according to Psaki.
