Weathermen forecast temperature degrees to slide significantly in the northern parts of Egypt on Friday.

They expect the weather to be nice in the Middle Egypt.

Major temperature degree in Cairo would be 26 degrees during daytime.

It would to be hot in Upper Egypt.

However, it would be cold at night across the country.

Heavy mist would reduce ranges of visibility in the northern and middle districts in the early morning.

Heavy lower and medium –dragged clouds would hang over the most parts.

Rain is expected to fall in the northern coasts and near areas, the Delta, Cairo, Halyeeb and Shalateen in  the utmost tip of the country near the border line with Sudan.

Moderate north westerly winds would blow through the open areas.

They would get fresher over the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea so navigation disturbed there.

The Mediterranean Sea (MS) would witness moderate to rough conditions.

Waves would swell to 2-2.5 meters and the MS would be exposed to north westerly moderate winds over hours to come.

The Red Sea would see moderate conditions and the waves swell to 1-1.5 meters.

Egypt is four times the size of the United Kingdom.

Because its boundaries extend from the Mediterranean Sea in the north to the Sudan in the south, its climate varies greatly. Although some tourists venture into the searing heat of the Sahara desert, most confine their travels to the Red Sea coast and the Valley of the Nile.

Around Alexandria and the resorts that fringe the Mediterranean, summertime temperatures usually peak at around 31 Celsius (87F) but further south, in Aswan, temperatures average 41 Celsius (106F).

Although there can be few wet days each month along the Mediterranean coast, much of Egypt experiences little or no rainfall.

So with sunshine averaging eight to 10 hours each day in the winter and as much as 12 hours in the summer,  tourists can base their choice of time to visit solely on the likely temperatures.

With summer temperatures exceeding 35 Celsius (95F), touring the sites around Cairo can be very uncomfortable.

But it should also be pointed out that January and February can be quite chilly months in Cairo and along the northern half of Egypt’s Red Sea coast.

Dust-laden winds may affect almost any part of the country between late March and June. These can give some very unpleasant conditions at times.
