A video showing the Korean Ambassador to Egypt Hong Jin-wook playing a popular Egyptian song has been widely watched online this week.
His stunning performance came during the 8th International Festival of Drums and Heritage Arts, which is attended by 30 bands from several countries in the world.
On Sunday, Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem inaugurated the 8th Festival of Drums and Heritage Arts, which is held under the theme of “Drums Dialogue for Peace.” This year's ceremony focussed on ways to improve basic rights for all humans; including the protection of civilians all over the world from the violence of wars.
Later, the Ambassador of South Korea took to stage to perform and play on his saxophone the renowned Egyptian song ‘Talat Daqat’ (‘Three Beats’) for audiences.
