A video showing a parachuter landing on the pitch during the match between France and German in the Euro 2020 competition has been widely watched online this week.
The viral video from inside the Munich stadium shows an unknown man flying over the field, suddenly changing direction and losing momentum after hitting an obstacle and swinging very close to the stands before regaining control and landing on the pitch.
Moreover, the parachuter demolished the stadium's technical equipment during his landing after getting tangled in wires connecting the spider camera to the stadium roof, and also injured a lighting technician, who had to be treated by paramedics on-site.
Later, the German defender Antonio Rudiger was the first man to approach the parachuter during his landing.
In the video, Rudiger can be seen rushing to help the man upon landing, with security coming in shortly afterward to take him into custody.
