Warm weather expected in Egypt on Monday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will witness a rise in temperature and warm weather, during daylight hours on Monday.

Warm weather is foreseen to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, Northwest coasts, Northeast coasts, North and South Upper Egypt. It is also expected that moderate weather will prevail in the Northern Coasts.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere will be hot in South Upper Egypt.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, said that the country will witness fog on some agricultural roads close to water areas, leading to and from Cairo. The fog will also prevail in Lower Egypt and North Upper Egypt.

Extremely cold weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, North and South Upper Egypt, at night.

It is also expected that cold weather will prevail in South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 24C in Cairo, 23C in Alexandria, 21C in Marsa Matruh, 29C in Sohag, 29C in Qena and 32C in Aswan.

In addition, the experts also shared early predictions for the coming days. They revealed in a detailed report that the country will be witnessing mist from Monday till Saturday, on some agricultural roads close to water areas, leading to and from Cairo. The fog will also prevail in Lower Egypt and North Upper Egypt.

The experts also revealed that the country will see temperature increases 6-5 on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is also foreseen that the dusty weather will prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal cities and North Upper Egypt.

The experts added that the country will see a decline in temperature by 8-6 degrees Celsius from Thursday till Saturday in Cairo, Lower Egypt and Northeast Coasts.
