The meeting of the committee for voting on the State awards in the Opera House has commenced. All the attendees have been urged to maintain all the precautionary measures against coronavirus.
The meeting started with the presidency of Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, the Minister of culture.
It was attended by Dr.Hisham Azmi, the Secretary-General of the supreme Council of culture.
It began with discussing its agenda that included signing the previous meeting minutes, acknowledging and renewing the institutions and bodies that have the right to nominate the state awards, acknowledging the internal regulations of the Supreme Council of culture.
This was followed by discussing the proposal of granting the state awards of "Excellence and Appreciation" of two years to be given annually.
The meeting was concluded by discussing the granting of the state awards.
