U.S. Officer Crushed against Door during Riots at Capitol (Video)

In a new video revealing the gravity of what happened during the storming of the US Congress, last week, a police officer was "Crushed" between the doors of the Capitol.

Supporters of outgoing US President Donald Trump stormed the building on Wednesday, coinciding with the House of Representatives' approval of Joe Biden's victory in the presidential elections.

The video, which was published on several media platform, shows the moment a crowd of intruders moved against the police, in an attempt to prevent their forces from entering the building.

The officer’s voice who was in pain can be heard, the moment, his body got stuck between the two sides of the door, and seconds later someone unloaded the contents of the fire extinguisher over the heads of the crowd in a narrow passage.

Police said more charges were brought against the rioters after dozens of them were arrested.

Five people, including a woman who was shot dead, were killed in the violent events that took place in the Congress building that shook the image of the American democracy in the world.

By Saturday, prosecutors filed 17 cases in the Federal District Court and 40 in the Supreme District Court of Columbia, for crimes ranging from assaulting police officers to entering restricted areas, stealing federal property and threatening lawmakers.
