US Lomondiles Investments Surpass EGP 2 Bln in Egypt

Lomondiles CEO of North Africa Bilal Sharbati explained on Monday that the company's investments in the Egyptian market exceeds EGP 2 billion so far.

According to Sharbati, the company aims to boost more new investments into the Egyptian market.

On other hand, he reported that the company owns 3 factories in Egypt, which manufactures more than 14 local and international brands of chocolate and biscuits.

In addition, the company exports 45% of its products in Egypt to more than 24 countries.

Meanwhile, Lomondiles plans to open a new line of chocolate production in one of it's factories. It gained a market share in Egypt worth 40 % as an average of its products.

Furthermore, Lomondiles launched an initiative to raise children awareness and their families about the healthy food methods in Sohag and Menia. The drive began on April 2018, and will end on October 2020, with funds worth $ 450,000.
