The US Congress agreed to transfer $ 150 million to support the Palestinian Authority and renew aid to many civil projects in the West Bank and East Jerusalem that were suspended by the Trump administration last year.

According to the Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz", aid is not conditional on supporting or cooperating with the Trump peace plan known as the century deal, which the Palestinian Authority has rejected.

There are two items in the budget to help the Palestinians with $ 75 million to support the security services and the rest to support civil projects.

The US Congress approved, in a Senate vote, the Defense Budget Law for Fiscal Year 2020, which amounted to $ 738 billion, which provides for the creation of a "space force".

Alhurra, US satellite channel reported that President Trump, the owner of the idea of creating a space force, should sign the law to enter into force.

The Senators approved the bill by 86 votes to 8. The law also gives, for the first time, parental leave to all ministry employees.

The law mentioned provides - according to the channel - for the creation of a "space force" that will become the sixth branch of the US armed forces. It will be added to land, sea, air, marines, and coast guard weapons.

A "head of space operations" will lead this force under supervision of United States Secretary of the Air Force. The law has not earmarked any additional funding at this time because the "space command" that Trump wants to create is still under construction.
