Unidentified planes bombed a base run by Iranian-backed factions, in Deir al Zor province, eastern Syria, near the Iraqi border, residents and Military sources said, according to Reuters.
They added that the strikes took place south of Mayadeen town, along the Euphrates River, which has become a major base for several Shiite militias, mostly from Iraq.
