UK Officials asked the New Year's revelers in Scotland and Wales to think twice before traveling to England to Celebrate the New Year.

This development highlights that the four regions of the UK are taking complete approaches to deal with the restrictions to fight the Corona Pandemic, amid record rates of cases and increasing hospital admissions.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson opposed tightening restrictions in England, despite the rapid speed of the highly contagious "Omicron" mutant.

Instead, he focused on repeating the virus test and expanding the vaccine promotion program to control the spread of infection.

Opinions were pided over whether Boris Johnson's Government was taking a risky gamble by not imposing stricter measures to fight Coronavirus in England, while "Omicron" pushed infections to record levels.

On Thursday, Statistics showed that the number of people who go to hospitals as a result of infection with Corona jumped to 11,898 cases, an increase of 44% compared to the previous week.

New Confirmed daily infections hit a record on Thursday, reaching 189,213 cases. The government reported 332 deaths, the highest since last March.

Some believe that Johnson's strategy is risky and that large crowds gathering inside buildings on New Year's Eve will likely lead to an increase in Corona cases.

Johnson urged people to get a quick Coronavirus test before going out and socializing on Friday. While the fireworks displays in London have been canceled for the second year in a row, there will be many parties organized and many revelers are expected to attend.
