Anchors of "Sabah Elbalad" program aired on “Sada ElBalad” T.V Channel applauded the efforts of “See” English news website staff in covering all Arab and world news.

See” Managing Editor (ME) Mohamed Wadie said the English website seeks to deliver the positive image of Egypt to the whole world, and to respond to all false allegations targeting the homeland.

Concerning the UK ambassador leak case, Wadie said that the outgoing Britain’s representative in Washington Kim Darroch, who resigned after leaked cables, is credible, efficient and professional.

“The leak case is a fatal flaw,” Wadie said.” It will not only threaten Britain relations with the US, but with other countries as well.”

“Every ambassador has the right to express his personal opinion, and his political affiliations,” he added.

Moreover, Wadie pointed out that the timing of the leak has raised many questions; it aims at hurting UK deeply. “Britain is on the verge of signing a trade deal with America; it also prepares to leave the European Union (EU) Next October 31.”

In addition, he stressed that Britain should establish strong business relations with major countries like the USA and Egypt.

“It is known that America and Britain are longtime allies and such leaks would negatively affect their strategic relations,” he added.

Noteworthy, in a letter to Simon McDonald, the most senior official at the Foreign Office, Darroch said the row, in which Trump called the ambassador “a pompous fool” and “very stupid”, meant he could not continue.

“Since the leak of official documents from this embassy, there has been a great deal of speculation surrounding my position and the duration of my remaining term as ambassador,” he wrote.

“I want to put an end to that speculation. The current situation is making it impossible for me to carry out my role as I would like.”
