"We are not going to focus only on the Pharaohs in the group stage. Our goal is to advance to the knock-out stage," Sebastien Desabre, Uganda's head coach said.

"Egypt is a great team, but there are other prominent teams in the tournament. We will focus on our games against Zimbabwe, and DR.Congo because all the matches are difficult," Desabre added.

"Securing two victories in the group stage qualify us to the knock-out stage," he remarked.

Cranes, picked in group A alongside Egypt, Dr.Congo, and Zimbabwe, will begin their mission against DR.Congo on at Cairo Stadium on Saturday, June 22 at 16:30 CLT.
