Uganda Awards “Arab Contractors” Best Contracting Company Prize for 2019

Ugandan Vice President Edward Ssekandi has awarded the Arab Contractors Company the certificate of the best international contracting company with a future vision in the field of construction and housing for 2019 due to the company's contributions to the realization of the ambitions and vision of Uganda 2040.

Eng. Mohsen Salah, Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, stated that this award comes as a result of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's keen to enhance the Egyptian relations with the African continent under Egypt's presidency of the African Union.

He added that the company's current business in Uganda is estimated at about $ 200 million.

Salah pointed out that the company is currently implementing many projects in Uganda, including the 67-kilometer Terini Palisa Kumi road with a total of $ 80 million, the 44-km Palisa Kamonkuli road with a total of $ 59 million, the 41-km Masaka Bukakata road with a total of $ 46 million, in addition to the construction and renovation of Kayunga Hospital with a total of $ 14 million.

The Ugandan Roads Authority and the Ministry of Health have praised the quality and completion rates.

The Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company said that the company has implemented a large number of projects in Uganda, including the establishment of Mulago General Hospital in the capital Kampala in addition to many educational and commercial buildings and roads.

Noteworthy, the Arab Contractors Company is one of the leading construction companies in the Middle East and Africa.
