The UAE has strongly condemned and criticised the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias' persistent attempts to attack citizens and civic objects with explosive drones and a ballistic missile today in Khamis Mushait and Jazan, Saudi Arabia, which were intercepted by Coalition Forces.

The UAE emphasised in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) that the Houthis' systematic terror acts demonstrate their flagrant disdain for the international community as well as all international rules and standards.

The Ministry asked the international community to take fast and decisive action to put an end to these recurring acts, which target essential infrastructure and endanger the Kingdom's security, international economic stability, and global energy supply.

It further stressed that the prospect of these assaults persisting in recent days is a serious escalation that shows new proof of these militias' intentions to destabilise regional security and stability.

The UAE has restated its entire support for Saudi Arabia in the wake of these subversive terrorist assaults, as well as its opposition to all threats to the Kingdom's security and stability. The UAE further reaffirmed its support for all Saudi authorities' efforts to ensure the safety and security of their citizens and communities.
