UAE Boosts Investments in Egypt Worth $6.6 Bln

UAE Ambassador in Cairo Jumaa Mubarak El-Junaibi, reported today, that his country's direct investments in Egypt exceeded $6.6 billion in 2018.

El-Junaibi explained that UAE companies operating in Egypt reached 1,065 in March 2019, compared to 923 companies in 2017, and his country has been ranked first globally in terms of foreign direct investment in Egypt.

During the meeting with UAE investors in Egypt, he praised efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to improve investment climate and offer promising investment opportunities in the country.

Meanwhile, the trade exchange between the two countries hit about $ 3 billion in 2018.
