The first look at the series adaptation of the late novelist Dr. Ahmed Khaled Tawfik’s novel “Room 207“ has finally been unveiled.
Filming began on Horror/Thriller series in September 2021 and will focus on three main characters, played by Mohamed Farag, Riham Abdel Ghafour, and Nardine Farag.
The series will also feature many guest appearances including Mourad Makram, Mariam El Khosht, Youssef Othman, Ahmed Magdy, Maha Abou Ouf, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, and Ingi Abou Zeid.
The adaptation is a horror/thriller genre that consists of 10 episodes. It is directed by Tamer Ashry and scripted by Tamer Ibrahim.
“Room 207” was originally published in 2008 and republished in 2017. The novel, which takes place in 1968, revolved around hotel room number 207, which the owner declines to close despite its strange occurrences.
Many enter the room but a few survive physically, those who do escape the room carrying unforgettable and horrible memories.
Gamal Al Sawaf took it upon himself to resolve the mysteries of the room.
Moreover, Farag is also set to appear in the highly-anticipated film “Ahl al-Kahf“(The People of the Cave).
“Ahl al-Kahf” is an action genre and stars Khaled El Nabawy, Ghada Adel, Mahmoud Hamida, Mohamed Farag, Amr Abdel Gelil, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Reem Moustafa, Sabry Fawaz, Abdel Rahman Abou Zahra, Hager Ahmed, Maged El Masry, and others.
It is based on Tawfik el-Hakim’s novel of the same title, which is adapted by Ayman Bahgat Kamar.
The film, which takes place in 250 AD, is shot in Ireland, Morocco, and Egypt.
The plot revolves around the human struggle against time; the struggle is represented by three people who wake after sleeping for over three centuries to find themselves in a different era than the one they previously lived.
The film also depicts interesting historical tales such as the great conflicts between Adel’s character and El Nabawy, as she stands with the king (Fahmy) against him.
