TV Series “Etegah Egbari” to Consist of 15 Episodes

Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby's new TV series “Etegah Egbari” (Compulsory Direction), will consist of 15 episodes.

The series is scripted by Mohamed Hesham Ebia, helmed by director Kamla Abu Zekri, and is set to premiere in the Ramadan 2022 drama marathon.

"Etegah Egbari” will also feature actor Ahmed Dawood and mark their second collaboration after the 2016 film  “Al Ma’ wal Khodra wal Wajh al Hassan” (Brooks, Meadows and Lovely Faces).

The series will also mark the stars’ comeback to the Ramadan marathon.

Shalaby made her last participation in the drama marathon with the 2017 TV series “Wahat Al-Ghoroub” (Sunset Oasis) starring opposite famed actor Khaled El-Nabawy.

Dawood also made his last participation in the marathon in the 2020 TV series “Luebat Al Nesyan” starring Dina El Sherbiny.

Shalaby will next appear in the film “Al Gareema” (The Crime), starring Egyptian Ahmed Ezz.

It also stars Maged El Kedwany, Ryad El Khouly, Sayed Ragab, Mohamed Gomaa, Nardine Farag, Nabil Eissa, Hajjaj Abdul Azim, Myrna Noureldin, and others.

“Al Gareema” is written and directed by Sherif Arafa.

The actress can be seen in the film “Al Ens W El Nems”, which is currently premiering in cinemas.

It also stars Mohamed Henedy, Amr Abdel Gelil, Sabrien, Bayoumi Fouad, Mahmoud Hafez, Arfa Abdel Rassoul, Sherif Desoky, and others.

The film, written by Kareem Hassan Beshir and directed by Sherif Arafa, witnesses the first collaboration between Shalaby and Henedy.
