Turkey has renewed its call to hold a meeting with Egyptian senior officials in the presence of Greek and Cypriot officials, Al Arabiya reported on Tuesday.

The state would send a senior delegation including diplomats to Cairo for having a security-related meeting with Egypt, Greece, and Cyprus, Al Arabiya cited sources.

On the other hand, Egypt demanded the necessity of suspending all maritime agreements signed between the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) and Turkey, in addition to discussing Turkish troops exist from Libya and demolishing any Turkish military bases in Libya for holding any talks.

Turkey has no will to suspend any Mediterranean-related agreements with Libya, meanwhile, it wants to resume diplomatic relations with Egypt alongside several Arab countries.

Moreover, the Head of Turkey's National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan handles all middle-east files including the Libya crises and the relations with Egypt.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu unveiled that Turkey and Egypt may start maritime borders agreements, in addition, the minister underlined that Turkey can sign an agreement with Egypt concerning maritime borders.

He added that the state showed a positive reaction towards Egypt's mining activity in the Mediterranean as Egypt respected the Turkish water borders.
