Tunisian President Offers Condolences to Sisi over Train Accident

Tunisian President Kais Saied voiced solidarity to Egypt’s Abdel Fattah El Sisi over train accident that took place earlier today, Sunday.

“President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call this evening from President Kais Saied, President of the Republic of Tunisia, in which he expressed his condolences to the victims of the Toukh train accident,” said Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

The Tunisian president wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

”Saied asked God Almighty to protect Egypt and its people from all harm,” added Rady.

For his part, Sisi expressed his appreciation to the positions of the Tunisian president in support of Egypt, which reflects the brotherly friendly relations between the two brotherly countries.
