TUI Italia to Launch Trips to Luxor Starting from Dec. 23

TUI Italia announced that it will start launching tourist trips to Luxor in the current winter season 2019/2020, beginning from December 23. 

The Italian company, affiliated to TUI, will open a new flight route from Bergamo airport to Luxor once a week through AlbaStar airlines. 

The first three flights will be on December 23 and 30 and January 6 in conjunction with Christmas, New Year Eve, and Epiphany feast. The flights will be resumed on February 17.

The Italian holidaymaker will organize three types of cruise trips: the classic Nile navigation, Cairo + the Nile and the Abu Simbel and Lake Nasser circuit. All the programs could be booked inpidually or in groups. 

According to L'Agenzia di Viaggi magazine, the packages will be organized in cooperation with DMC Travco group. 

It is worth noting that about 422,000 Italians visited Egypt in 2018, compared to 255,000 in 2017. 

In 2019, the flow of Italian tourists to Egypt increased by 40%, compared to 2018. 

Luxor is considered one of the favorable destinations for Italians. 

The Europeans made up the largest portion (about 6.5 million) of the incoming tourists, followed by Arabs at about 3 million, Asians at about 600,000, Africans 150,000, and 63,000 from various other nationalities.

Also, this winter, TUI will organize flights to the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh, beginning from February 2020, via five airports namely; Birmingham (BHX), London Gatwick (LGW), and Manchester (MAN), as well as Doncaster/Sheffield (DSA) and Bristol (BRS) in May.
