“America and Trump’s Policy", to be discussed at AUC University

Cairo-Sep.18(SEE): Mark your calendar for these events happening at AUC in the period from September 19 to September 25   “Trump’s Distinctive Foreign Policy: What it means for the Middle East”   “What Do the Polls Say?”   AUC Forum and the Department of Political Science at AUC host “Trump’s Distinctive Foreign Policy: What it means for the Middle East” and “What Do the Polls Say?” talk on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud Hall, PO21, AUC New Cairo.

Speaker for “Trump’s Distinctive Foreign Policy: What it means for the Middle East” is William Quandt, professor emeritus, University of Virginia, former staff, National Security Council; whereas the speaker for “What Do the Polls Say?” is Shibley Telhami, Sadat Chair Professor for Peace and Development, University of Maryland. AUC President Francis Ricciardone will moderate the talk.

“What is Happening in America?”   The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) at AUC will host “What is Happening in America,” as part of the Tahrir Dialogue Series on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Hotel Sofitel Nile El Gezirah, Opera 1 Ballroom.

Speakers are Shibley Telhami, Sadat Chair Professor for Peace and Development, University of Maryland and Mohamed Kamal, director of the Center of International Area Studies, Cairo University. The event will be moderated by Karim Haggag, director of the Center for American Studies and Research, AUC.

“The Oslo Agreements 25 Years After”   The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) at AUC will host “The Oslo Agreement 25 Years After” as part of the Tahrir Dialogue Series on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Oriental Hall, AUC Tahrir campus.   Speaker Nasser Al Kidwa, former foreign affairs minister, Palestinian National Authority. The session will be moderated by Aly Erfan, professor, Department of Public Policy and Administration, AUC.
