Egypt's Mahmoud Trezeguet is set to miss Aston Villa’s upcoming game against Burnley due to injury. The Villians are set to host Burnley in the 13th round of the Premier League next Thursday.

Trezeguet to Miss Couple of Matches

The last round saw Villa earn valuable three points against Wolves in the closing moments of the game, thanks to Anwar El-Ghazi’s scored penalty.

Trezeguet missed the game due to injury and it has been confirmed that he will miss the next one as well against Burnley.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Dean Smith said: “Ross Barkley will be assessed ahead of the game.

“While Trezeguet misses out through injury and Douglas Luiz and Matty Cash are suspended,” he added.

Trezeguet has made 10 appearances for Aston Villa this season, assisting twice across the Premier League and the EFL Cup.

Villa currently sit 10th in the Premier League with 18 points, five points away from the top four places, however, they still have two games in hand.
