Antiquities Ministry Organizes Trip to Red Sea, S. Sinai

The Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion organized a three-day trip for 35 foreign correspondents to visit the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates. This move comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to promote tourism, in light of the Egyptian government's decision to resume the tourism movement in coastal tourist governorates.

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Khaled Al-Anani, and Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar, will accompanied the correspondents  to inform the international news agencies of the precautionary controls and procedures followed inside Cairo airport, on the plane, in Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh airports, in a number of hotels and clinics in hotels in the two cities, in ping centers, and in Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital.

Dr. Khaled Al-Anani visited Hurghada Museum in the light of the precautionary measures approved by the Board of Directors of the Supreme Council of Antiquities.

He also adopted a plan to gradually open museums and archaeological sites, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs Ghada Shalaby, and Dr. Mustafa Waziri - Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Abdel Fattah Al-Assi, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for monitoring tourism facilities,, and Eng. Ahmed Youssef, Chairman of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion.

About 35 correspondents of a number of international news agencies from Italy, Germany, China, Russia, France, Britain, Kuwait, UAE and Saudi Arabia attended this trip.
