The "Today" co-anchor Hoda Kotb revealed on Tuesday that she adopted a second child.

Kotb said, during a phone interview with her morning show "Today”, that she adopted a new baby girl and named her Hope Catherine Kotb.

Kotb became a first-time mom in 2017 when she adopted her two-year-old daughter Haley Joy. She referred to her announcement a day before when she shared a photo on Instagram, captioning "Choose Hope," as Kotb was hinting to her second daughter.

During the telephone call, Hoda expressed her happiness of having Catherine in her life, saying: "I'm feeding her, and I can't believe it ... I'm so happy she's here."

Hoda added that Haley began to perform her new role as she is the old sister, saying: "This morning at breakfast, (Haley) was trying to feed (Hope) her raspberries, and I was like, 'Not yet, babe ... She was literally marching around saying, 'I'm a big sister.''
