Netflix is developing a To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before spinoff series starring Anna Cathcart.

The series, entitled "XO, Kitty", has been greenlighted with a 10-episode order, making it the first series spawned by a Netflix original movie.

The half-hour dramedy, from the films’ Awesomeness and ACE Entertainment, will showrun by book series creator Han and Sascha Rothchild, who will also serve as executive producers alongside Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment.

"XO, Kitty" will see Cathcart reprising her role as Kitty Song Covey who believes that she knows everything about love, but after she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she will soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it's your own heart on the line.

Cathcart’s character played a major role in the plot of the movies. In the first movie, she discovered letters her older sister Lara (Lana Condor), a shy high school junior, had written to boys she had crushed on and secretly mailed them, triggering all the follow-up events.

Awesomeness and Kaplan’s ACE has developed the "To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before" franchise, one of the streaming giant's hugely successful film franchises at Netflix.

In 2014, Cathcart received her first big break playing the lead role of Agent Olympia in the Emmy Award-winning PBS children’s series, "Odd Squad".

The role earned her a Canadian Screen Award and a Daytime Emmy nomination.

She is also known for her roles in the Disney hit musical "Descendants" and the ABC TV drama "Once Upon a Time".
