Thousands of right-wing activists demonstrated against the Israeli government’s policy at 100 junctions and bridges across the country, with the participation of Knesset members.

According to right-wing activists who organized the protest, 20,000 people participated in the event, which took place under the slogan “Israel is in danger. We want a Jewish state”.

The activists told Channel 13: “We must take to the streets as people from all members of society gather together at the same time at all crossroads and bridges across the country    against the administration of the government of Israel”.

The rightist activist added that the people of Israel united this for an important goal to topple the government led by Naftali Bennett. They claimed that the government poses a real danger to the existence and identity of Israel.

This comes just days after a massive demonstration organized by thousands of supporters of the extreme right in Israel in front of the headquarters of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in Jerusalem, to protest the government’s approach to unauthorized settlements.

According to The Times of Israel, Last Fridaya number of right-wing representatives and officials, including Knesset members Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Jubeir, attended the demonstration organized by Yossi Dagan.

Although the agenda of the demonstration was originally focused on the issue of unauthorized settlements, many protesters carried banners and were chanting slogans against the government in general, denouncing, in particular, the way the authorities dealt with the Negev Bedouin demonstrations against a controversial government initiative to plant trees in the area.

In his speech to the demonstrators, Smotrich criticized the cabinet's decision to demolish a number of buildings in an unauthorized settlement in the West Bank.

Israel Police estimated the number of demonstrators in front of Bennett's headquarters in the thousands, without specifying a specific number.
