"The Egyptian National Media Institution " announces the broadcasting of 22 matches of the World Cup on the Local Egyptian television

Hussein Zain, head of the National Media institution, announced that the local Egyptian television will broadcast 22 games from the World Cup.

The authority said in a statement on Sunday evening that the decision comes in order to preserve the rights of the Egyptian citizens to watch and enjoy their football national team plus others.

The Institution announced that they came in contact with the FIFA on the 6th of June in order to buy the right to broadcast 28 matches for an agreed fee. The FIFA have yet to respond, but the institution seems optimistic. The institution added that according to regulations, the nation has the right to broadcast all it's team's matches.
